The Commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea, MajGen Bradley S. James, attended the 69th anniversary of the Dosol Mountain Victory Event, 19 June. U.S. and ROK Marines fought together during this battle in the Korean War and forged an enduring brotherhood that lasts to this day. After the battle, then President of the Republic of Korea, Syngman Rhee, bestowed the name "Mujuk" on the Marines, which means invincible. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Sgt. Parker R. Golz)
