DOSOL MOUNTAIN, Republic of Korea – Sgt. Maj. Michael Saucedo (center right), sergeant major of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea, with Sgt. Maj. Yang, Byung Jang (left), 1st R.O.K. Marine Division sergeant major, Sgt. Maj. Jeon, Jong Ik (center left), R.O.K. Marine Corps sergeant major, and Sgt. Maj. Lee, Hwai Woo (right), 2nd R.O.K. MARDIV sergeant major, hold hands in solidarity in front of the battle memorial of Dosol Mountain to symbolize the strength of our alliance here. Dosol Mountain is where U.S. and R.O.K. Marines who fought in the Korean War earned the nickname “Mujuk”, which means invincible. The U.S. Marine Corps base in Pohang, South Korea was named Camp Mujuk to reflect this honor bestowed on them by the people of the R.O.K. (courtesy photo/Released)
