Advise and assist the Commander in matters pertaining to Marine active component, reserve component and civilian Marine manpower policies and procedures; personnel strengths, replacements and augmentation; quality of life and family readiness policies and procedures; readiness and retention; information and personnel security; awards, postal, and other general, operational and personnel administrative matters.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea - G2 provides quality intelligence to the MARFORK staff that supports the planning and conduct of assigned operational missions.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea G-3/5/7 advises and assists the Commander in matters pertaining to organization, training, readiness, planning, and operational employment of MARFORK personnel.  In both component and service functions, the G-3/5/7 is structured and chartered to serve as the Commander's principal staff agency for the development and articulation of a wide spectrum of concepts, plans and policies; and to direct and supervise execution and/or implementation of those policies.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea G4 advises and assists the MARFORK Commander on all logistics-related aspects of local and regional training as well as the formulation and promulgation of logistical support related policies and procedures.

G6 - COMMUNICATIONS

U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea G-6, plans, directs and coordinates the training, staffing and equipping of Marines to augment and reinforce MARFORK with C4 capabilities Evaluates and enhances the operational C4 readiness of MARFORK through the efficient/effective management of G6 resources.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces Korea G8 serves as the principal adviser to the MARFORK Commander on all programs and requirements resource issues and business reforms and initiatives, to ensure resources are available for MARFORK to train, maintain and provide combat-ready forces to support combatant commanders across the globe and for employment across the spectrum of crisis and conflict.
